CORRUPTION PERCEPTION INDEX (CPI) PROVES THAT PR LIED !!!

The improvements on Malaysia's ranking from 60th in year 2011 rises to 54th for this year on the Corruption Perception Index (CPI), is a very welcoming news.

Especially when this latest 2012 ranking also put Malaysia at a far better place to be compared to being at the 56th place for two years in a row back in 2009 and 2010.

What's better is that Malaysia is on top three in ASEAN countries and at 9th in the Asian region.

Meanwhile, as for Islamic states, Malaysia is at top 5, sharing place with Turkey.

However, Iran, which has been a model state for PAS, is way down at 133rd place.

As he reviews these rankings, the President of Transparency International Malaysia (TI-M), Datuk Paul Low said;

"This improvement has been expected. All of the efforts taken by the government, Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) as well as Performance Management and Implementation Unit (Pemandu) has become a success and we hope that Malaysians can break the record."

This means, the ability of Malaysia to improve its rankings in the CPI is a manifestation of success thanks to the transformation program which is introduced by the Prime Minister, Dato' Seri Najib Tun Razak.

And in another angle, with the improvement, this proves that PR's propaganda which says that BN government is corrupted is proven to be a lie and it is just politics.

However, if the management performance of the four states which are ruled by PR is not as bad as it is right now, perhaps our CPI rankings could have been a lot better.

But due to bad management in Penang, Kedah, Kelantan and Kedah as it is led by politicians who only know how to talk than act, the whole country had to suffer the consequences.

Just imagine Malaysia's rank which has always been around 33rd to 43rd all these while, but when PR began to rule those four states, the numbers went down all the way to 47tth (2008), then 56th (2009), 56th (2010) and all the way down to 60th in 2011.

But thanks to the success in various transformation programs and followed by improvements in BN states with continuous campaigns from MACC, we managed to improve our CPI rankings, hence covering the bad management of PR states.
